Work is currently under away to install a wi-fi hot spot in a Caribbean marina, making it possible to run an internet based business from a yacht. Cable and Wireless is rolling out the network in the islands.

“We have found it is hugely popular with tourists. Initially everybody as- sumed that if you go on holiday the last thing you would want to take is a laptop but now it is more than just a working tool it is a communication tool and entertainment centre. Teenagers now travel with a laptop and they are demanding ever greater access to the internet.”

Review of the Sony VAIO FE590

The VAIO FE is very light for its size and has a great look too it. In terms of battery life it gets close to four hours when I’m in lectures throughout the day and around 3 hours watching videos, it has a beautiful crystal clear screen which is fantastic for my 3D art as the colors stay true.

The Panasonic Toughbook W4 is a great laptop that is light, yet durable to withstand the rough and tumble of business travel.

The semirugged designation means it’s tougher than most laptops but not as tough as models that meet military standards for drop, shock, water, vibration and other factors.
