Internet Cafe Security
If you are reliant on the Internet and your laptop to do business, there is inevitably going to be a time when either are not working. Your next option would be to visit an Internet cafe to do your work.
Using computers in an Internet cafe can be a security nightmare. It is almost better to assume that anything you type into the PC could potentially be recorded using a keyword logger on the PC.
This is one advantage of taking your own laptop on a trip. If there is no Wi-Fi available in the area you are travelling to you might be able to visit an Internet cafe and plug in your laptop to get an internet connection.
One possible solution to circumvent keyword loggers is to have your usernames and passwords saved in a file and copy and paste them into your browser. However, there are programs that can capture the memory of the clipboard.
Another solution could be to use a virtual keyboard which some online banking systems use.
An even better solution would be to use a script where a new password is created each time using some random figure like the time factor.
